Herc Flyover
Before last Thursday's season opening Sidewinders game, this Air Force C-130 Hercules flew over the Tucson Electric Park. This image was taken with my 70-300mm zoom at 214mm focal length. The exposure was 1/400 seconds at f/5.6, ISO 100.
That's for sure! I got probably 8 or 10 pix of it as it approached the field. I wasn't expecting it until the announcer at the park mentioned the flyover as the Herc appeared to the northeast of the field. I'd seen it a minute or two earlier off to the east but didn't realize it was going to be overhead shortly! We see Hercs fly over the UofA campus frequently too (along with A-10s, F-16s and an assortment of planes flying into the boneyard at D-M to be retired).

Ooo. I bet that wasn't exactly quiet. :-)
