Santa Cruz River
Normally, the Santa Cruz river in Tucson is bone dry and we joke about "Sand fishing" in it, but occasionally, such as over the past weekend when we got hit by the remains of a tropical storm, it can flow bank to bank. I didn't get to see it at full flow, but later in the day, it was still flowing pretty rapidly. This is a shot across the river using my 70-300mm zoom at 300mm focal length with an exposure of 1/1250 seconds at f/8, ISO 1600.
