Wedding Photographer at work

Here is Mikey the wedding photographer (and friend of the new Bride & Groom - his girlfriend was the lovely Maid of Honor and a fellow photography nut). Don't step to your right! This image was taken with my 10mm fisheye but cropped about 50% as I was way too far away for the best shot with it. The exposure was 1/100 seconds at f/8, ISO 200.

I thought Andy and I were supposed to be the "official photographers" on this trip, but Fred took more pictures than I did. Of course, Andy and I had bigger cameras, though Fred borrowed Andy's while he took this shot. This image was taken at 70mm focal length with an exposure of 1/320 seconds at f/8, ISO 200.

I have some pix from the UofA-Washington Huskie game last weekend that I didn't get a chance to post before going observing for the last week.

Before (and sometimes during) a game, I sometimes scan the sidelines looking at the equipment of some of the photographers down there and when I got to this one, my first thought was - "nice lens!". My second thought was - hey, I know that guy & he's one of my good buddies! Check out the link to my friend Dave's blog on the right to see some of his work.

Shooting the photographer again

Since Richard piped in on yesterday's photo to "complain" about not haveing signed a release, here's another shot of him. He took so long photographing from the footbridge, that I had to take a shot of him. This image was taken at 45mm focal length with an exposure of 1/200 seconds at f/8, ISO 400.

Who photographs the photographer?

During our hike around Red Rock State Park, Richard spent a few minutes doing a closeup of this old metal wheel, so as I hiked around the area looking for my own subjects, I couldn't help capturing a shot of him.
