Wailua Falls, Kaua'i
A rainbow appears in the mist at the base of Wailua Falls on Kaua'i. This picturesque waterfall is difficult to get a good photo of in the lighting and from the overlook. This image was taken with my 24mm lens with an exposure of 1/500 seconds at f/6.3, ISO 400.

Bathers in the Bath
One of the small lagoons near the Queen's Bath was occupied by some kids floating on their raft and jumping off the rocks. Waves splashed into this nook quite often. It seems dangerous. This image was taken at 18mm focal length with an exposure of 1/500 seconds at f/5, ISO 400 with a circular polarizer.

Waterall near Queen's Bath
We went to the Queen's Bath near Princeville on Kaua'i the same day we visited Kipu Falls. This image was taken at 27mm focal length with a polarizer and and exposure of 1/320 seconds at f/5, ISO 400.

No, don't jump!
My brother-in-law John takes a leap off of the rocks next to Kipu Falls for a good 20 or 25 foot fall into the water in the pool below. We hard arrived pretty early, but by the time we left, it was getting pretty crowded. BTW, one of the early scenes in the first Indian Jones movie was filmed in the jungle below the falls and you can even see these falls in the background as Indy is confronted by the bad guy with the natives around him. This image was taken with my Canon 20D with my 18-55 kit lens at 28mm focal length with an exposure of 1/500 seconds at f/8, ISO 800.
