Here's a sunset shot from a couple weeks ago while I was observing. I found that the most underexposed image gave me the best colors and the best feel for the sunset. I upped the contrast some to get the appearance I wanted. This image was taken with the kit lens on my 20D at 18mm focal length with an exposure of 1/1250 seconds at f/8, ISO 400.
