Northernmost point on Kaua'i

This little island is the northermost point associated with the island of Kaua'i, just north of the peninsula that the Kilauea Lighthouse sits atop. It is also a busy place for the many birds that live there. You can see lots of white specks which are really many birds on top of the rocks and the vegitation. This image was taken at 34mm focal length with an exposure of 1/160 seconds at f/8, ISO 400, with a circular polarizer.

Kaua'i is nothing if not colorful! It always amazed me how blue the water could be and how green the vegetation. Quite a contrast with Arizona, eh?!
