As the Grand Finale started in the A Mountain fireworks show, Mother Nature started her Grand Finale as well as a dust storm and thunderstorm moved into the area. This shot shows the obscuring dust and rain blowing into the downtown area making the fireworks appear washed out and fuzzy. The dust reached us a minute or two after the fireworks ended and the rain followed shortly after that with high winds as well - time to put the camera gear away? This image was taken with my 70-300mm zoom at 100mm focal length with an exposure of 2 seconds at f/8, ISO 100.
