UFO?

...Well, only in that I don't know what kind of Military jet is actually making the bright arc of light above the dome of our Spacewatch 36 inch telescope. The jet is flying over the Goldwater Gunnery range and can be seen in several frames along with other planes and flares and so on in the time lapse sequence. My goal was to image comet C/2006 M4 (SWAN) which is just barely visible if you know where to look (but it won't look like a comet, just a star). This image was taken with my Sigma 24mm lens on my 20D with an exposure of 30 seconds at f/1.8, ISO 800. Posted by Picasa
