Self portrait II
After looking at the photos of telescopes and astronomers in the Life magazine archives on Google, I was inspired to convert this self portrait taken one morning last week into a sepia toned B&W shot. This image was taken at 18mm focal length with an exposure of 0.6 seconds at f/8, ISO 400, cropped to nearly square format and converted to B&W and sepia toned in Picasa.

don't you have something to hold on your arms? like controller or observing sheet... otherwise this kind of pose looks like a random tourist guy in front of the scope. :D
I don't see any connection between you and the scope... perhaps a same color dress would solve it :)))
or you should physically touch the scope, so that you look more like a part of this 'machine'.
Wow - the black and white image seems to have discolored with time - I didn't realize you were that old! :-)
Telescopes - Bahhhh!
