Landscape Arch panorama

This is a mini panorama of Landscape Arch in Arches National Park. With my 24mm lens, I could not quite get the whole arch in one shot, but a left-center-right set worked great. This arch is the longest in the world and has shown some signs of its eventual demise when a large chunk of rock fell from it in 1991. As the rangers in the park said: See it while you can!
A frequent photoblog with select favorites of my photographs. Subjects are typically nature, landscape, astrophotos, existing light.

Very cool - but some pretty dreary white-out looking skies - ewww! :-)
Yeah, I didn't like that either but the sun was just set behind that ridge and we were in deep shadow with a mix of clouds and hints of blue sky that got blown out.... I was happy with the way the 3 images that made pan went together, though.
