Ants at work. These two fire ants were moving the large rock-like object they are both attending to in this picture. Quite impressive, like moving a Volkswagen with no wheels for you and me, I think. This image was taken on September 7 with my 20D at 70-300mm zoom lens in macro mode at 300mm f.l. Exposure was 1/1000 sec at f/11, ISO 800.
