This image is from the first week I had my new Canon 20D. This is a Gila Woodpecker on a Saguaro Cactus. I used my 70-300mm zoom lens at 300mm f.l. The camera was set to ISO 800 and the exposure was 1/1250s at f/11. The image was taken on May 16 this year not too far from the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum on McCain Loop road.
