Amazing shot I was on I15 in escondido and couldnt get a shot. Im on business in San Diego and didn't know how spectacular a lauch could be at sunset. The conical balistic shape of the vapor plume was amazing! Thanks for having your lens in the right place at the right tme and planning for it!
We saw the vapor trail in Amador County, CA, and it was lighting up clouds and casting shadows as it moved, but no one got any pix. Nice to see yours - a completely different perspective. It looked "like" a glowing wall in front of a graying cloud bank up here, with a pearly ball darting through the clouds. Your view is amazing!
