This image is of the early morning sun after closing up from a night of observing a few mornings ago. The Santa Rita mountains and Mt. Hopkins, home of the MMT Observatory are on the horizon right of the Sun and the building that brackets the right edge of the frame is that of the Spacewatch 36 inch telescope. This image was taken with my trusty 24mm lens. The exposure was 1/2000 seconds at f/8, ISO 400.

Nice shot, but you are staying up too late! I'm usually in bed about 30 minutes before sunrise!
