3 for 4

My folks and I went to the season opener for the Pacific Coast League Tucson Sidewinders who hosted the Salt Lake City Bees. The pitchers duel lasted less than an inning and while the Bees won 9-3 and there were lots of mistakes on both sides, the hitters definitely appeared to be ahead of the pitchers tonight - there were 27 hits between the two teams. This image shows firstbaseman Chris Carter of the 'Winders hitting his 3rd hit of the night as he went 3 for 4 with two singles and a double. Not a bad way to start off a season. This image was taken with the 70-300mm zoom on my 20D set to 133mm focal length. The exposure was 1/400 seconds at f/5, ISO 1600. Posted by Picasa
