hmm sort of spectacular :D
I only wonder about how these kind of shapes form. Water surface wave constructive interference patterns due to obstruction might cause an active erosion right behind the obstruction itself. and as the water level changes, you dig up a nice hole?
One word answer. OK, actually 2 words: Lava Cave.
